In the 1950s, a football federation was formed by eight schools in the United States: Harvard University, Yale University, Princeton University, Columbia University, Pennsylvania University, Brown University, Dartmouth University, Cornell University. It was named the Ivy League because each school had a symbol of the ivy that overgrown the brick school building. It is said that Ivy Look is a fashion that mixes sportswear and uniforms that they liked.

As the years go by, Ivy-Look started casual down gradually, and it can be said that it gave students the change of various fashion scenes.

HUMIS expresses this change embodied in the present age.

1950年代、米国のハーバード大学・イェール大学・プリンストン大学・コロンビア大学・ペンシルバニア大学・ブラウン大学・ダートマス大学・コーネル大学の8校によりフットボール連盟が結成された。各校にはレンガ造りの校舎に生い茂る蔦（アイビー）がシンボルとなっていた事から、アイビーリーグとネーミングされた。その彼等が好んで着ていたスポーツウェアと制服をミックスしたファッションをアイビー・ルックと言われている。

年代が経つにつれアイビー・ルックは徐々にカジュアルダウンを始め、様々なファッションシーンの変化を学生達に与えたと言えるだろう。

この変化をHUMISは現代において具現化したものを表現致します。
